It’s a passage of Scripture, a teaching of Jesus I think we often overlook. And even when we read it, I’m guessing many of us misread or misunderstand it. After casting out a mute demon, Jesus offered an example of a strong man guarding his home that automatically makes me think of things like our “stand your ground” laws. I mistakenly believe that the strong man Jesus refers to is the good guy. And the stronger man is the thief and robber. That isn’t what Jesus was teaching, as we discussed this week. Take a look!
