Perhaps we mere humans use the word "coincidence" because God's involvement would seem far too difficult to accept and or understand. As with you, I have observed what I labeled "coincidence" when after a time of reflection, the "coincidence" was more than likely an "incident" of God's involvement. At that moment, a humble and thankful appreciation of my loving, creator God is magnified!
God works in funny ways..beyond our understanding. I am a physician, and there have been times in my life(I could share if you would want) where for no reason I was there, and it saved a life. Or resulted in good in other ways. thank you for sharing.
2 most recent---At a horse pull, waiting...then a team was late to arrive. asked my father in law if he wanted to go for a walk while waiting, we were going to head left, toward the old tractors, but for some reason we headed right. in about 10 feet, as I passed a kid, I noted he looked very pale. Walked back to him, and asked his parents if he was OK. They said "just a stomach flu.". I checked him out--no, it was not....VERY pale, no perfusion. Told them to go NOW to the ER. Fortunately they did, and found him with a blood count barely enough to survive with acute leukemia. Had he waited another few hours, likely gone. Now a happy kid, in remission.
Another time--nothing to do with being a physician--2 years ago riding with my nieces, went up a trail and kept finding minor obstacles, not big deal. Then my horse REFUSED to go over a log. One he had done many a time (? Balaam's Donkey ring a bell?). Couldn't get him to regardless if I was on him or off, (he never does that) so we turned around, then got caught in a storm, forcing another detour. In short, we ended up on a trail we had NO plans on being on...and there we found a very scared little dog that had strayed from his owner. After about 1 mile of getting on and off the horses to try and approach him, he finally let my niece come to him, and found (fortunately) he had a collar and tag--we called his owner, he had run away in a storm the night before, was 4-5 miles away from where he had strayed, and out in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest. Amazing Coyotes or other hadn't gotten him. Owner was frantic, but now relieved. Dogs paws were raw from running. Had we not found him, about then, don't know he would have survived.
God has pointed me many times to where, and who I should be, at that time.....I could go on forever....Also have seen what I couldn't call anything but miracles several times. God is good.

Would love to hear some time!

I had a hard time reading the last couple paragraphs through the tears.
I always tell my kids: There's no such thing as coincidence, happenstance, luck or serendipity. Thank you for posting this further evidence!
