It’s so strange that Matthew - a Jew writing to a Jewish audience - would include information about the Magi from the East coming to worship the Christ child. It’s strange until you start to dig into a little bit, which we did this week in our unfolding Christmas series.
One of the things I pointed out in the full message (available here) was the series of contrasts you can find in this small section of Scripture. It’s fascinating, instructive, and moving.
