I prefer you shoot the video in portrait mode, but at a slight angle, which is a little something I call diamond mode. I would also prefer you begin each episode with an apology for how wrong you are almost certainly going to be.
Looking forward to this! I’m on mobile often but would prefer landscape video. I have no problem rotating my phone sideways to watch it. I think this will be a lot better experience especially if you’re going to be editing other clips into the vidcast.
Since you asked for feedback on the video orientation, I'll put a vote in for landscape mode. Thanks for keeping us updated on the evolution of your content. Count me among the throngs of fans eager to take this journey with you!
Also, please let me know if you are interested in any audio assistance (intros, outros, postproduction, etc.) I'd love to help!
Per your request, I am complaining now in order to have the right to complain in the future. I prefer the portrait/landscape mode and fully expect all future video-casts to comply! Seriously, well done! I eagerly look forward to your future thoughts. May your new venture be blessed as you uplift our Heavenly Father and His Kingdom in all that you do.
He was clearly being difficult. Since summer is coming and you will not have to be around knucklehead high schoolers all day I guess Moser will keep you on your toes through the summer.
The video for me at times experienced quite a bit of buffering and from about the 1-3 minute mark the audio and video were not quite in sync. But that could have been repeated to the buffering. I tried on my phone and computer and got the buffering issue with both devices.
Ok, I'm not overly tech savvy, so this may not be correct. But whenever I've been watching a video that repeatedly buffers, I always thought that was a download issue on my end. Like my internet signal was weak or slow and taking a long time to download. It's weird that you had the issue on both phone and computer. I'm just not sure how I would fix that on my end. If you know, let me know! One trick that the kids at school taught me when the audio and video don't sync is to click earlier in the video 2 or 3 minutes and it usually syncs up. No clue if that would work for you. Keep me informed though.
I also am not tech savvy and I can report that the Bee Video of their podcast also came through buffering today, so I am going to say it was my connection. I just figured better to share in case anyone else had issues. When I was able to watch the 2nd half, I did fast forward and the issues were resolved. More maybe on the initial loading.
Landscape mode would be fantastic, I don't watch videos on my phone. I always look forward to your videos and articles on Not The Bee, so I'm excited you're expanding your content! Thank you!

Imagine my delight to find that you are going to be part of this group.
Wouldn't miss it for the world.
I think NotStPeter should be your first guest, unless his NDA prevents it.

Yep, that's a good point

Ok, now wait a second Moser...do you prefer the portrait (like the one I just sent) or the landscape (like the wide lens)? You just told me both!
I really do not care, I just wanted to complain, as well as reserve the right to any future complaints!

I usually use my phone on portrait. I do use a tablet on landscape, or roku with my TV, for some things.
For one person speaking, portrait makes sense.
I am very much looking forward to this.
For what it's worth, I am also an avid landscape mode person. If viewing on my phone, I simply turn it sideways.

Portrait mode seems like the best approach based on your logic.
