Satan is so good at discouraging us. He lies to us and fills our heads and hearts with doubts. Doubts about God’s love for us, doubts about Christ’s finished work on our behalf, doubts about our own ability to persevere in the faith. The next time he starts working on you again, I’m begging you to remember the scene in Gethsemane. That’s where we focused this morning, and I wanted to share with you a portion of it here.
