Some people struggle believing that Satan is real, and that he has it in for us. I get that. The supernatural isn’t easy to grasp or even pay attention to when you’re consumed with your day-to-day lives. That’s the famous line, after all: Satan’s greatest trick was convincing the world he wasn’t real. But he is real, and he hates God, and therefore is trying to deprive God of all the glory that is due him. And what better way to do that than tear apart the institution that God designed to represent Christ and the church?
