Buy the field

We wrapped up our “Ordinary” series this week and there’s one single encouragement I want to give you: buy the field. If you imagine it happening in real life, you can see how absurd, how irresponsible, how crazy and radical it seems. And that’s exactly why it shouldn’t surprise us that it’s something we are told in Scripture to do. The wisdom of God always seems like foolishness to foolish men.
