About THE MEMO…

There's a great liberation to be felt in abandoning yourself to the divinity and doctrines of Christ. That likely seems counterintuitive to a world convinced that it has found freedom in rejecting what they perceive to be all those fun-sucking rules that come with Christianity.

But the truth, as inconvenient as it may be, is that God alone is sovereign. We can't escape Him, and surrendering to that reality in order to accept His providential guidance and correction leads to a far more pleasant existence than engaging a lifelong struggle of pretending our rebellion against Him is freedom.

My one desire in this life is to illuminate that eternal truth to as many people captive to the spirit of the age as I possibly can. I’m praying THE MEMO can be but one small tool in that effort.

I hope that by reading THE MEMO, you’ll be entertained and informed, educated and challenged. I hope you’ll see the glory of God in my writing, and that by reading you will be edified and equipped to complete the mission of making Jesus famous in our dying culture.

I thank God that you’ve joined me and pray He would be evident in every word you read here.
