Two things: First, Rob Reiner was appalled by Charlie Kirk’s murder. He said so at least twice publicly. Second, check out Mike Huckabee’s commentary on Reiner’s murder. Reiner went on Huckabee’s show and they had a great discussion, mostly about movies. If he hated Christians he would never have gone on a show hosted by one and watched predominantly by Christians.
Sadly, this is another case of politics driving faith and not the other way around. It’s harder to see because it is conservative politics driving this misguided thinking and not progressive. I appreciate you calling it out.
