I don’t know David Platt personally. At one time, the Baptist minister was the youngest senior pastor of a megachurch in the United States, serving at the Church in Brook Hills (in Alabama). He left that congregation in 2014 to become the head of the International Mission Board, before taking over at McLean Bible Church in 2017.
