A message I received
Good things are coming
Like many of you, I’m excited about the coming year. Personally, I found 2024 to be a blessed year, but an exceptionally fast one. They seem to keep getting faster. Regardless, I’m ready to see what 2025 will bring.
For us here in our subscriber community, a lot of cool things are coming (including a new book…or TWO, a new website, and some merch!). I want you to be a part of it all, and so I’m throwing out a new subscription special from now through January 10th.
Here’s a hint of what it is…
Before I give you the details, I decided to share this message I got awhile back from someone who took advantage of the deal we offered on subscriptions last year:

At the time, I’ll admit I saw it more as a gift to your ministry than I did something that I would truly benefit from. I want you to know how wrong I was about that. This last year has been one full of confusion and chaos, and your openly Christian perspective has been a lifeline for my faith. Your insights have not only helped me understand the culture through a biblical lens but have also drawn me closer to Jesus in ways I never expected.
I want you to share this with others if you decide to offer another deal like that this Christmas because I truly want to see the work God is doing through you to grow. Your content doesn’t just critique the culture; it builds up the believer, challenges our thinking, and calls us back to the truth of the Gospel.
Thank you for being a faithful voice in the wilderness. I’m truly grateful for your ministry and look forward to another year of spiritual growth in this community you’re building. It’s a little weird to share that with you because I truly don’t want you to oversell myself or what I’m able to offer. I can only tell you that each week, whether through a written Memo, a short Bible teaching clip, and a podcast with an extended “after hours” segment, I will do my very best to be faithful to Scripture and speak truth to the false spirit of the age.
Would I love to have you a part of it all? Of course! But I also know there are plenty of great causes and ministries to invest in, so I’d truly encourage you to go wherever you can grow and where you can best help build the Kingdom of God.
